Tilba Pictorial

A UNIQUE VISION IN SKETCH & COLOR PHOTOGRAPHY

2006 - By John Boom

When I first made a visit to Tilba it was only by accident as I'd never been
there before.  So just in passing I drove off the highway and made my way
into this picturesque town located at the bottom of the surrounding hills. It’s
like taking a step back in time as all the homes are of the Victorian
weatherboard style.

It would have to be the best featured town I’ve seen in all of Australia today
in regards to its presentation and its acceptance of tourism. The whole
town has been restored and kept neat and tidy with a host of small and
interesting stores. They even have a car park catering for buses and
caravans. There are 120 photos in sketch and color photography in this
series.
